Young Artists Paint a Green Message at Climate Change Art Competition in Agartala linked to the North East Integration Rally 2026

An art competition centred on the theme 'Climate Change and Green Deeds' was organised on Sunday at Gitamandir, Masterpara, Agartala, as part of a broader climate awareness initiative linked to the North East Integration Rally 2026.
The programme was organised by the Tripura Ham Radio Club, comprising ham radio operators under the banner of the Disaster Awareness Society. The competition was held from 10 am to 11 am and witnessed enthusiastic participation from young artists, who expressed pressing environmental concerns through drawings and creative visuals.
Through colours and concepts, the participants highlighted key issues such as climate change, environmental degradation, sustainability, and the importance of adopting green deeds in everyday life. The competition formed an integral part of the Climate Change Awareness Campaign of the North East Integration Rally 2026, which aims to spread the message of Peace, Progress, and Prosperity across the North Eastern region.
Organisers stated that such community-based initiatives are designed to sensitise society, particularly children and youth, about climate action and environmental responsibility. They emphasised that creative platforms like art play a powerful role in shaping awareness and inspiring positive behavioural change at the grassroots level.
