More than 1,100 pristha Pramukhs to attend conference in Mohanpur

The Mohanpur Assembly constituency is set to host a grand Pristha Pramukh Sanmelan on Sunday under the leadership of Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath, with Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha scheduled to inaugurate the event.

As many as 1,120 Pristha Pramukhs from 56 booths across the constituency are expected to participate, making it one of the largest such gatherings in the area.

Over the past two months, meetings have been held at every booth under the guidance of the Power Minister, focusing on detailed assessments of booth-level conditions and strategic planning.

Highlighting the importance of organisational workers, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said Pristha Pramukhs form the backbone of the Bharatiya Janata Party and their contribution should be recognised not only during elections but throughout the year.

“Pristha Pramukhs are the backbone of our organisation. Their dedication, insight and tireless work inspire us to build a stronger and more inclusive future for our constituency. Recognising and respecting their efforts is not just an obligation, it is a responsibility we cherish every day,” he said.

The Sanmelan will also be attended by several senior leaders of the party, including State BJP President and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, former Chief Minister and West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb, State BJP in-charge Dr Rajdeep Roy, MLA and State BJP General Secretary Bhagaban Das, State BJP General Secretary Amit Rakshit, BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, MLA and State President of the Youth Morcha Sushanta Deb, State President of the Mahila Morcha Mimi Majumdar, State President of the OBC Morcha Malina Debnath, State President of the Kisan Morcha Pradeep Baran Ray, and State President of the Minority Morcha Billal Miah.

Members of the Mohanpur Mandal Committee will also be present, making the event a significant gathering for party leaders and grassroots workers alike.
