Despite Minor Chaos and Police Lathi Charge, Jubin Nautiyal’s Concert Draws Unprecedented Crowd at Unity Promo Fest in Agartala

Jubin Nautiyal’s live concert at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala created a vibrant musical evening as an unprecedented crowd gathered to witness the renowned playback singer at the concluding event of the Unity Promo Fest 2025. The turnout was so overwhelming that security personnel were compelled to close the entry gates well before the performance began. DGP Anurag visited the venue to assess security measures, with senior officials stationed across the area to manage the situation.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, cabinet colleagues, former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb, and Tripura Tourism brand ambassador Sourav Ganguly were present at the inaugural session. Dr Saha felicitated Jubin and his team, crediting Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury for making the event possible and offering the state’s youth a grand musical experience. He said the addition of the word unity to this year’s fest reflects the importance of harmony among diverse communities. MP Biplab Kumar Deb praised Chowdhury’s efforts to showcase Tripura nationally, while Ganguly highlighted the state’s vast tourism potential.
