Father Accused of Raping Minor Daughter in South Tripura Village

A shocking incident has surfaced from West Ludhuya village under Sabroom Police Station, where a 55-year-old7 man has been accused of raping his own 13 years minor daughter.

According to police sources, the incident allegedly took place on Monday night around 10:30 PM. The accused, identified as Alind Tripura, reportedly took his 13-year-old daughter to a nearby rubber plantation, gagged her, and sexually assaulted her.

Following the complaint lodged by the victim’s mother, Sabroom Police registered a case and immediately brought the minor to the police station for preliminary inquiry. Medical examination procedures began soon after.

During the investigation, it was revealed that after committing the crime, Alind Tripura fled the area. Upon receiving detailed information about the incident, a forensic team from South Tripura District Sadar, Belonia, reached the crime scene at West Ludhuya Chodipara’s rubber garden to collect evidence.

Sabroom Police, with support from higher authorities, have launched an intensive search operation to locate and arrest the absconding accused. Police said, further investigation is underway.
