44th Agartala Book Fair 2026 scheduled to be held from 2 January to 14 January, Publishers Asked to Submit Applications by December 12

The Government of Tripura has initiated preparations for the 44th Agartala Book Fair–2026, scheduled to be held from 2 January to 14 January, 2026. A memorandum issued by the Office of the Information & Cultural Affairs (I&CA) Department, instructed all Sub-Divisional Information Officers (SDIOs) and Information & Cultural Officers (ICOs) to widely disseminate the notification across their respective subdivisions.

According to the memorandum, the I&CA Department has outlined the process for online submission of applications by publishers, book sellers, and interested organizations wishing to participate in the fair. Applications may be submitted electronically at [email protected] or offline to the Directorate of I&CA.

The deadline for submission has been set for 12 December 2025.

Sub-divisional officers have been directed to take necessary steps to ensure the information reaches all stakeholders promptly, ensuring maximum participation in the upcoming book fair, one of Tripura’s most prominent cultural events.
