Three Senior TCS Officers Selected for IAS Promotion Under 2024 List

Three senior Tripura Civil Service (TCS) officers, Rajib Datta, Biplab Das and Subhash Chandra Saha have been nominated for promotion to the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS), according to an official notification issued on Monday.

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has confirmed that the President of India has approved the 2024 select list for promotion of State Civil Service officers from Tripura against IAS promotion quota vacancies.

The select list was originally prepared on October 16, 2025, and subsequently approved on November 24, 2025, following consultations with the state government.

Along with the three confirmed names, the list also includes Panna Ahmed, whose nomination has been kept provisional, pending clearance of a disciplinary case and women related criminal proceedings.

All three TCS officers recommended and selected for promotion to IAS are widely regarded for their honesty, integrity and dedicated service in the state administration.

Officials stated that these promotions mark an important administrative development for Tripura, acknowledging the long-standing contributions of senior TCS officers.
