TPSC Approves Recruitment of 30 New TCS Grade-II and 15 TPS Grade-II Officers in Tripura

The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has officially approved the recruitment of 30 new officers under Tripura Civil Service (TCS) Grade-II and 15 officers under Tripura Police Service (TPS) Grade-II, bringing fresh administrative and policing strength to the state. The approval was issued through a notification dated 1st December 2025, under Advertisement No. 04/2016.
According to the detailed merit list published by TPSC, candidates have been recommended for appointment based strictly on merit, category-wise vacancies, and preferences given during the selection process.
As per the TCS Grade-II Appointments notifications, a total of 30 candidates have been selected for the TCS Grade-II posts.
The highest scorer in this category is Biprajit Biswas (Roll 10111) with 605.75 marks, followed closely by Sartha Karmakar (603 marks) and Ajit Mitra (589.33 marks).
The list includes candidates from UR, SC, and ST categories, with some appointments recommended against UR vacancies as per rules.
As per the TPS Grade-II Appointments notifications, under the Tripura Police Service Grade-II category, 15 candidates have been recommended.
Debapratim Nag (Roll 03729) tops the list with 554.5 marks, followed by Anjan Debnath (553.75 marks) and Surajit Shyam (582 marks).
The selected candidates represent a mix of UR, SC, and ST categories.
TPSC has clarified that all recommended candidates must undergo final certificate verification by the concerned department before receiving their formal appointment letters. Only after the successful verification process will the government issue official joining orders.
Notably, the inclusion of 45 new officers,
30 in TCS and 15 in TPS, is expected to significantly enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen law enforcement mechanisms across Tripura. This recruitment fills long-pending vacancies under the 2016 advertisement.
