Tripura Govt to Implement Uniform Transfer Policy for All Officers and Employees Soon: CM Dr. Manik Saha

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced yesterday at a government programme held at Agartala Muktodhara Auditorium that the Tripura government is set to introduce a comprehensive and uniform transfer policy for all categories of officers and employees in the state.The Chief Minister stated that under the new policy, every officer and employee will be required to serve across different locations in the state. Those who have already worked in remote and rural areas will receive priority and certain advantages during their subsequent transfers, allowing them to opt for their preferred postings.

Dr. Saha informed that the draft transfer policies have already been submitted by several departments. Secretary Kiran Gitte and Secretary Revel Hamendra Kumar have submitted their respective department drafts much earlier, including those for the Health and Education departments. Other departmental secretaries have also been instructed to submit their transfer policy drafts without delay.According to official sources, many departments have already complied and submitted their drafts. After thorough scrutiny and discussions in the State Cabinet, the final transfer policy is expected to be announced soon.

The new transfer policy aims to bring transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity across all government sectors, ensuring improved administrative efficiency throughout Tripura.
