Tripura Agriculture Minister Showcases State’s Organic Excellence at MENOPE 2025 in Dubai

Tripura’s Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath proudly represented the state on the global stage at the Middle East Natural & Organic Products Expo (MENOPE) 2025 held in Dubai. The event brought together leading producers, exporters, buyers, and global stakeholders from the organic and natural products sector.

In his social media post, Shri Nath expressed immense pride in showcasing Tripura’s rich organic heritage, highlighting the international attention the state’s organic products received at the expo.

He stated that Tripura’s world-renowned GI-tagged Queen Pineapple, along with the state’s premium aromatic rice varieties, Bird’s Eye Chilli, Gandharaj Lemon, sesame, and millets, attracted remarkable appreciation from buyers across GCC countries, Europe, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

The Minister emphasized that the platform provided a powerful opportunity to present the achievements of the Tripura Organic Mission. He highlighted that Tripura now has 26,400 hectares of certified organic farmland supported by more than 26,800 dedicated organic farmers, reflecting the state’s strong growth and commitment to sustainable agriculture.

Shri Nath’s participation at MENOPE 2025 is expected to bolster Tripura’s global market potential, open new export avenues, and strengthen the identity of the state as a rising hub for organic excellence.
