Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Reviews Agartala’s Transport System, Focus on Smoother and Safer Urban Mobility

In a significant step toward improving Agartala’s transportation network, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today chaired a detailed review meeting on the existing urban transport system of the capital city.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister stated that the discussions focused on existing challenges and explored strategic measures aimed at making urban mobility smoother, safer, and more efficient for all commuters.

The review also included an in-depth presentation on the proposed development of Battala Market and the corridor stretching from Gol Bazar to Netaji Chowmuhani. Officials further examined key components of the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) during the session held at the War Room of the Tripura Institute for Transformation (TIFT).

The Chief Minister emphasized that these initiatives are essential for strengthening Agartala’s urban infrastructure and ensuring a modern, well-coordinated transport system capable of meeting future demands.
