Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Recognized as One of India’s Most Educated Chief Ministers During Tripurainfo Mega Quiz Event

Tripura’s Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has been recognized as one of the most educated Chief Ministers in India, a fact revealed during the prestigious Tripurainfo Mega Quiz 2025 held in Agartala yesterday.

The revelation came at the very beginning of the event when Shri Jayanta Debnath, Editor of tripurainfo.com, during the starting of the 20th edition of the Tripurainfo Mega Quiz by asking the opening question,- Who are the three most educated Chief Ministers in India?

To everyone’s surprise, the question was correctly answered in a single attempt by an enthusiastic audience participant during the first audience round. Many other quiz-loving youngsters also raised their hands, eager to answer.

For this first and remarkable correct answer, Jayanta Debnath awarded Rs. 2000 in cash, marking an exciting start to this year’s Mega Quiz. The moment highlighted how Tripura’s young and Gen Z participants are highly aware, curious, and knowledgeable beyond their academic syllabus.

In his welcome address, Shri Sekhar Dutta, Chief Editor of tripurainfo.com, praised the youth of Tripura, stating that the state has no shortage of talent and intellectual capability. Later, both the present and former Chief Ministers of Tripura also appreciated the Mega Quiz initiative and urged the organizers to take the event beyond the Northeast, so that the rest of India could recognize the brilliance of Tripura’s young minds.

Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Sanjib Sharma, retired Head of Corporate Communications, ONGC Tripura, now based in Delhi. Praising the program, he said, Nowhere in India is such a large and knowledge oriented quiz conducted with such enthusiasm and scale.

Saurav Gupta, Managing Director of Farm Edge Innovations Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, and renowned journalist Biswadeep Gupta, Editor of KRC Times and senior journalist of Eastern Chronicle, also expressed admiration for the event. He also remarked that no other state in India organizes a quiz event of this magnitude and quality, and all the thre distinguished guests from outside Tripura was amazed to see Tripura’s youth answering complex questions within seconds.
