CITU Leader Panchali Bhattacharjee Hospitalized at GB ICU After Sudden Health Deterioration, Senior CPI(M) Leaders Rush to Hospital

Panchali Bhattacharjee, wife of former chief Minister Manik Sarkar and the State Convenor of the All India Working Women Coordination Committee (CITU), was suddenly taken ill yesterday evening and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of GB Hospital.

Upon receiving the news, senior leaders of the CPI(M) rushed to the hospital to enquire about her condition. Among those who visited were CPI(M) Central Committee member Manik Dey, former minister Ratan Bhowmik, State Secretariat members Shankar Dutta and Ratan Das, along with several other party leaders.

Doctors at GB Hospital are closely monitoring her health condition, while CITU members and well-wishers have gathered at the hospital premises, expressing deep concern and praying for her speedy recovery.
