Tripura’s Renowned Diabetologist Dr. Basab Ghosh Invited as Faculty Speaker at the Asia’s largest diabetes research and care Conference in Kochi

In a moment of great pride for Tripura, Dr. Basab Ghosh, one of the state’s most respected diabetologists, has been invited to attend the 53rd Annual Conference of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) as a Faculty Speaker. The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt, Kochi Bolgatty, from November 6 to 9, 2025.

This prestigious recognition marks the first time Tripura has been invited to the RSSDI Faculty Speaker podium, signifying a major achievement for the state’s medical community. The Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), founded in 1972, is Asia’s largest organization of diabetes healthcare professionals and researchers. Its mission is to promote research, offer professional training and education, and enhance public awareness about diabetes prevention and management.
