CM Dr. Manik Saha Apologizes for Inadvertent Mention of IPFT While Referring to NLFT During Bihar Speech

During his recent speech in Bihar, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inadvertently mentioned the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) while referring to the banned insurgent outfit NLFT and ATTF. The slip of tongue was completely unintentional.

As soon as the matter came to his notice, Dr. Saha personally contacted IPFT President Shri Prem Kumar Reang over phone and expressed his sincere regret for the inadvertent mistake. The Chief Minister made it clear that it was an unintentional error and not meant to associate the IPFT with any extremist organization.

Despite his prompt clarification, a few individuals with opposing political ideologies began criticizing the Chief Minister on social media. On realizing this, Dr. Saha once again took to his own social media account to acknowledge the mistake publicly and reiterated that it was purely accidental.

The Chief Minister’s immediate response and direct communication with the IPFT President reflect his sense of responsibility and respect for all political parties and leaders in Tripura.
