Theme-Based Musical Water Fountain Inaugurated at Khumulwng Eco Park Amid Civic Challenges in TTAADC Area

While TTAADC pensioners continue to face delays in receiving their pensions and residents complain about the lack of safe drinking water and poor road connectivity, a new development has added a splash of attraction to the TTAADC headquarters. On Tuesday, the first-ever theme-based musical water fountain in the TTAADC area was inaugurated at the Eco Park in Khumulwng, marking a new step toward promoting tourism and public recreation.

The visually stunning musical fountain, synchronized with colorful lighting and rhythmic music, captivated a large number of visitors during the inaugural ceremony. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd, eager to witness this new addition to Khumulwng’s growing list of attractions.

The fountain was officially inaugurated by Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, who emphasized its broader purpose beyond entertainment.

“This musical fountain is not just for amusement—it represents the growing tourism potential of the TTAADC region. There are plans to develop Khumulwng into one of the major tourism destinations of Tripura in the near future,” he said.

Despite the infrastructural issues still faced by local residents, the newly launched musical water fountain is expected to emerge as a unique recreational hub for both tourists and locals, bringing renewed focus on Khumulwng’s tourism prospects.
