Tripura CPI(M) Leader Jitendra Chaudhury Visits Late Singer Zubeen Garg’s Residence in Guwahati, Expresses Condolences to the Family

In a heartfelt gesture, Tripura CPI(M) State Secretary and Opposition Leader Jitendra Chaudhury, along with senior leaders of the Assam CPI(M), visited the residence of late renowned singer Zubeen Garg in Guwahati yesterday.

During the visit, they spoke with Zubeen Garg’s wife Garima Saikia Garg and other members of the bereaved family. Jitendra Chaudhury expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the legendary Assamese artist, describing him as a cultural icon whose voice had touched millions across the Northeast and beyond.

The CPI(M) leaders offered their condolences to the grieving family and recalled Zubeen Garg’s immense contribution to music, cinema, and social causes. They said his death has left a void in the cultural landscape of the region that will be hard to fill.
