Kidnapped Indranagar Teenage Girl Rescued from Udaipur, Prime Accused Detained, Public Outrage Over Bold Abduction

According to police sources, the teenage girl who was kidnapped from the Banglar Math area of Indranagar, Agartala, was rescued in Udaipur late last night. Udaipur police successfully traced the girl and detained the teenage boy allegedly involved in the abduction on Saturday night.

The shocking incident occurred around midnight the day before yesterday, when a group of four to five unidentified miscreants arrived in a car near the Agartala Milk Dairy locality. The gang reportedly stormed into the residence of the teenage girl after threatening her family to open the door. Out of fear, the family complied, and the assailants forcibly entered the house, attempting to kidnap the girl.

When family members tried to resist, the miscreants allegedly attacked and injured them before dragging the girl away in their vehicle and fleeing the scene.

As news of the incident spread, panic and outrage gripped the locality. Neighbours rushed to assist the victim’s family, who promptly lodged a formal complaint at the NCC Police Station.

The police immediately launched a search operation, and through coordinated efforts, the girl was located in Udaipur the following night. The alleged kidnapper, a teenage boy, was also taken into custody for questioning.

The daring abduction, carried out from within the safety of a home in the dead of night, has sparked serious public concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Agartala. Residents have urged authorities to ensure strict action against the culprits and strengthen night patrols to prevent such incidents in the future.
