Killer Driver Souvik Nath Arrested: Nabbed from Dharmanagar Railway Station for Hitting Father-Son Duo on Durga Ashtami Night

In a major breakthrough, Dharmanagar Police have arrested the accused driver Souvik Nath, who had allegedly fled after hitting a father and his 10-year-old son on Durga Ashtami night. The tragic incident took place at Dharmanagar town, when Souvik Nath’s speeding vehicle rammed into the duo and fled the spot immediately after the collision.

Sadly, the 10-year-old boy, Abhirup, succumbed to his injuries later while undergoing treatment at Silchar Hospital. The heart-wrenching incident triggered widespread outrage and demands for the immediate arrest of the culprit.

After an intensive search, police successfully tracked and arrested Souvik Nath from the railway station on Saturday night. He is currently in police custody and will be produced before the court.
