Agartala Horror: Woman Abducted, Drugged and Gang-Raped by Five Men, Dumped in Jungle in Semi-Conscious State

A shocking case of gang rape has emerged from Agartala, sending shockwaves across the state. A 30-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by five men, drugged, and gang-raped before being dumped in a jungle in a semi-conscious condition.

According to reports, the perpetrators forcibly took the woman in a vehicle, made her consume intoxicating substances, and then brutally assaulted and raped her. After the raped and assault, the accused allegedly cut her hair and abandoned her in the jungle with wet clothes on her body.

When she regained consciousness, the victim somehow managed to reach the Agartala Railway Station. Seeing her distressed condition, some locals came forward and immediately took her to IGM Hospital late last night.

Doctors at IGM Hospital, after initial treatment, referred her to GBP Hospital for advanced medical care. In her emotional and tearful statement recorded one TV media camera, the survivor revealed that five men had drugged and gang-raped her before leaving her in the forest.

The woman, still in trauma, refused to share her address or the names of the accused with the media. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.

The shocking incident has triggered outrage and demands for swift police action and strict punishment for the culprits. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
