Newburg PULSE Begins Operations in Tripura: First Advanced Diagnostic Lab Inaugurated in Dharmanagar

A new chapter begins in the healthcare infrastructure of North Tripura. One of India’s fastest-growing diagnostic chains, Newburg Pulse Diagnostics, has officially launched its first state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory in Dharmanagar. The lab was inaugurated on Friday by Tinku Roy, Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Tripura.

With this new facility, people in Dharmanagar, Tripura will now have access to faster, more accurate, and high-quality medical tests without the need to send samples outside the state. The company has announced plans to invest around Rs. 20 crore over the next two years to expand its diagnostic services across Tripura.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Subrata Roy, CEO and Managing Director of Newburg Pulse Diagnostics, along with senior executives, leading medical professionals, and prominent local dignitaries.

Minister Tinku Roy hailed the initiative as a historic step for the people of North and Unakoti districts, saying, “Earlier, people had to send blood or other samples to Agartala or even outside Tripura for tests. Now, reports will be available quickly in Dharmanagar itself, saving both time and expenses for patients.”

The newly inaugurated lab is equipped with fully automated facilities for Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, and Molecular Diagnostics. Through cutting-edge technology, the lab promises precise and timely test results.

This advanced diagnostic center will not only serve residents of North Tripura but also benefit people living in border areas of Assam and Mizoram. Company officials added that the project will open new employment opportunities for local youths and mark a major milestone in Tripura’s healthcare development journey.
