The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Arindam Deb, the Social Media Department In-Charge of Tripura BJP, as the Social Media Observer for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections. His appointment comes as part of the party’s strategic preparations to strengthen its digital campaign and outreach across West Bengal ahead of the crucial polls.

The leadership of Tripura BJP has extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Arindam Deb for his new responsibility, expressing confidence that his experience and commitment will play a vital role in boosting the party’s social media presence in the neighbouring state.

Notably, former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb was earlier appointed as a co-in-charge of BJP in West Bengal, reflecting the party’s growing trust in leaders from Tripura for handling key responsibilities in the eastern region.
