Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker to Join CPA International Conference in England and Four Other Countries

Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, who is presently functioning as the Incharge Speaker, is set to participate in the upcoming Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) International Conference, scheduled to begin on November 5. The prestigious conference will span 28 days and cover five countries, including England.
The Indian delegation will be led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, while Speakers and senior representatives from legislative bodies across Commonwealth nations will take part in the conference. The event is expected to provide a significant platform for deliberations on democratic practices, legislative exchanges, and strengthening parliamentary institutions across the globe.
The CPA International Conference brings together leaders and policymakers to address pressing governance challenges, share best practices, and foster international cooperation. With Tripura’s participation, the state’s legislative representation is expected to gain valuable exposure on international parliamentary procedures and democratic innovations.
