A total of 32 cadets from 13 Tripura Battalion and 15 Tripura (I) Company of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) successfully concluded their Army Attachment Camp with the Indian Army at Agartala Military Station on September 30.
The camp, which began on September 19, was designed to provide NCC cadets with first-hand exposure to the challenging yet inspiring life of Army personnel. Spanning 12 days, the training programme was structured to give the cadets practical insights into various aspects of military life, discipline, and ethos.
During the camp, cadets underwent intensive training sessions covering physical training (PT), drill, navigation, weapon handling, firefighting, and first aid. The curriculum also emphasized leadership qualities, teamwork, and the values of courage and discipline that define the Indian Army.
The closing address at the Agartala Military Station lauded the cadets for their commitment and performance throughout the camp. Army officials emphasized that such initiatives are part of the Army’s continued outreach programme aimed at motivating young cadets, nurturing future leaders, and encouraging them to consider careers in the uniformed services.
The successful completion of the camp marks another step in strengthening civil-military engagement while fostering the spirit of patriotism and service among the youth of Tripura.
