LoP Jitendra Chaudhury in CPI(M) delegation to China

Tripura Leader of Opposition and CPI(M) state secretary Jitendra Chaudhury has joined a senior party delegation visiting China on the invitation of the Communist Party of China. The team, headed by CPI(M) general secretary M. A. Baby, includes politburo members Md. Salim, Arun Kumar, Dr. Hemalata, and CITU president Sujata. After departing New Delhi via Hong Kong, the leaders will hold meetings in Beijing and visit provinces like Wuhan and Hangzhou to study development models. CPI(M) said the visit seeks to strengthen ties and promote friendship between the two neighbouring nations.
