Depth of moral decay : mother of two children elope with paramour , children make piteous appeal for return

Amidst all round social decay underlined deeply by a spurt in adulterous affairs and sexual escapades, a pathetic appeal online by two children to their eloped mother to return home has sent shockwaves through the entire state today. They were joined in their online appeal by their hapless father who is finding it increasingly difficult to look after his children alone in the absence of their mother .

According to sources from Santir Bazar , Tuton Majumder (37), a resident of the Kanchan Nagar area of the subdivision, had socially married Mamata Majumder (35) of Mahamuni area of the same subdivision in the year 2011. Apparently the couple had been living happily and had two children aged ten and four. But in the absence of her husband from home Mamata developed an illicit liaison with an unknown youngman of Santir Bazar through mobile and kept on telephonic talk with her new-found paramour. Sources said that on September 17, the day of ‘Vishwakarma Puja, Mamata Majumder, the cruel and adulterous mother , had gone out of home in the morning with Rs 10 thousand in cash , papers like ‘Aadhar’ card and her gold ornaments but did not return home.

Mamata’s daughter later told her father that she had seen and heard her mother speaking over phone to an unknown person but did not disclose this to him for fear of her mother. The hapless husband Tuton Majumder is in a state of deep shock over his wife’s escape with her paramour and is finding it difficult to look after his crying children. Today Tuton Majumder and his two children made a pathetic online appeal in social media imploring their mother Mamata to return home immediately for their sake. However, as yet there is no response and Tuton Majumder is yet file any complaint with police as he is still distraught over the betrayal of his wife whom he avowedly loved very deeply.
