No Speech During PM’s Matabari Temple Inauguration Today, Lunch Cooked at Hotel Polo Tower to Be Served on Plane During Return to Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Tripura today for a brief three-hour trip to mark the beginning of Devi Paksha and Navratri. The Prime Minister will formally inaugurate the newly constructed infrastructure of Mata Tripura Sundari Temple at Udaipur, developed at a cost of Rs. 52 crore.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will arrive at MBB Airport, Agartala around 1:30 PM on a special aircraft from Tura, Meghalaya. From the airport, he will board a special Indian Air Force helicopter to reach the OTPC helipad at Palatana, Udaipur. He will then travel by road to the historic Mata Tripura Sundari Temple. After offering prayers at the temple, he will inaugurate the new facilities before returning by helicopter to MBB Airport, from where he will depart for New Delhi on a special aircraft.
The Prime Minister will not deliver any public speech or hold separate meetings during this short visit. All meals accompanied his entourage of around 25–30 members will be prepared and packed by a special team from Delhi. An exclusive temporary kitchen was set up at Polo Tower Hotel, Agartala, where cooking began early in the morning. The food will be packed and served inside the aircraft. It is not confirmed whether Prime Minister will take any food or not.
At Agartala Airport, the Prime Minister will be welcomed by Tripura’s three Members of Parliament,
Biplab Kumar Deb, Rajib Bhattacharjee, and Kriti Singh Debbarma
along with Agartala Mayor Deepak Majumder, Chief Secretary, DGP, District Magistrate, and Superintendent of Police.
Governor and Chief Minister will reach Palatana in advance to join the temple programme. Other dignitaries to be present there and at Matabari are included former MP Rebati Tripura, BJP’s central observer Dr. Rajdeep Roy, BJP’s national general secretary (organization) Rabindra Raju, all state ministers, Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Gomati Zilla Parishad Chairman Debal Debroy, senior bureaucrats and all BJP MLAs of the state.
Particularly, Mata Bari MLA Abhishek Debroy along with all other MLAs are expected to be present at the temple premises to welcome the Prime Minister.
