Prime Minister’s Visit to Tripura Sundari Temple: Traffic Diversion Announced in Gomati District on September 22

The Superintendent of Police, Gomati District, Udaipur, has issued a notification regarding traffic diversions and alternative road arrangements in view of the Prime Minister of India’s scheduled visit to the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple on September 22, 2025, for its inauguration.

To ensure smooth vehicular movement and security during the Prime Minister’s visit, specific road routes have been designated for vehicles traveling in and around South Tripura, Agartala, Udaipur, Amarpur, Melaghar, and Kakraban.

As per the notification: Vehicles from South Tripura District to Agartala will ply via Garjee–Tulamura–Kakraban–Melaghar–Bishramganj to Agartala.

Vehicles from Agartala to South Tripura District will follow the route via Bishramganj–Melaghar–Kakraban–Tulamura–Garjee to South Tripura.

Vehicles from Amarpur to Agartala will use the route via Dropgate Market–bank of Dhanisagar–Jail road–New Town road–Chanban Bridge to Agartala.

Vehicles from Agartala to Amarpur will travel via Chanban Subash Bridge–Central Road–Poultry road–Dropgate Market to Amarpur.

Vehicles from Melaghar to Udaipur will move via Kishoreganj–Shilghati–Tepania to Udaipur, and vice versa.

Vehicles from Kakraban to Udaipur will follow the Kishoreganj–Shilghati–Tepania route to Udaipur, and vice versa.

The District Magistrate and Collector have been requested to ensure publication of this information through both print and electronic media for the awareness of the public.

Authorities have urged commuters to follow the notified routes strictly on September 22 to avoid inconvenience and ensure smooth traffic flow during the high-profile visit.
