Tripura Assembly’s 8th Session of the 13th House Begins Today, CM Holds Crucial Meeting with Party and Ally MLAs

The eighth session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to commence today and will continue till September 23. Ahead of the session, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today convened an important meeting yesterday at his official residence with MLAs from the ruling BJP, as well as ally legislators from TIPRA Motha and IPFT.

Most of the legislators, along with the Chief Minister himself, attended the meeting which was aimed at ensuring a coordinated and effective strategy during the upcoming Assembly session.

The discussions primarily revolved around making the session successful and productive, with emphasis on various key issues likely to be raised during the proceedings.

The BJP and allied parties are expected to focus on addressing important legislative matters, developmental issues, and people-centric agendas during the six-day-long session.
