The communal environment in Tripura is gradually showing signs of strain, prompting Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to intensify efforts aimed at maintaining peace and harmony across the state. Recognizing the ground realities, Dr. Saha has been regularly engaging with tribal intellectuals and community leaders to build trust and strengthen unity.

Today again, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha held a courtesy meeting with several prominent tribal social heads and community elders, where he listened carefully to their valuable opinions on a range of issues.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha said that the state government has already undertaken a series of initiatives for the social and economic development of the tribal communities. He said, until we cultivate a true sense of brotherhood among ourselves, it will not be possible to take Tripura forward, he emphasized.

He further pointed out that this brotherhood must be founded on trust, mutual confidence, and support for each other. Such values, he noted, would not only strengthen social ties but also make the bond between communities stronger.

“There should be no hesitation in this regard,” Dr. Saha asserted. Even through our daily work and responsibilities, we must continue to reinforce this spirit of fraternity, he said.

Through his ongoing interactions with tribal society leaders, the Chief Minister is attempting to build a bridge of understanding that could pave the way for long-term peace and communal harmony in Tripura.
