Tight security restrictions imposed on entry into upcoming assembly session

Tripura assembly authority have announced tight security restrictions for entry into the assembly building and the session hall in view of the upcoming 8th session of the current 13th assembly commencing from September 19. The secretary of the state assembly has informed by a notification that without valid pass issued beforehand by the assembly secretariat no vehicle or invidual will be allowed to enter the assembly building compound.

All the MLAs, media persons and even assembly employees will be required to show their valid entry passes to the security guards who will be posted at the gates of the entry points upon demand as without valid entry passes obtained in advance no individual including MLAs will be allowed in. No visitor , government employee, media person or assembly employee will be allowed to enter the session hall with objectionable or suspect materials . No individual will be allowed to use mobile phone within the session hall or sanctum sanctorum of the assembly and its galleries.
