43 officials transferred and posted in major Tripura Police reshuffle

The Tripura government has ordered a major reshuffle in the police administration, transferring and posting 43 officials across the state with immediate effect. The notification was issued by the Department of Personnel & Training in the interest of public service.
As part of the changes, DIG (Crime, Intelligence & Security) Krishnendu Chakravarty has been appointed IGP (Intelligence & Security) with additional charge of SP (Special Branch). DIG Sanjoy Roy, earlier in charge of Training and KTDS, has been made DIG (Crime), while DIG (Headquarters) Prabir Majumder will also handle Training. Commandant CIAT Kachucherra Dilip Ray has been directed to report to the Manipur government, replacing retired officer Subrata Chakraborty.
Other key changes include the transfer of Timir Das from SP (MTF) to Commandant of West Tripura Home Guard Battalion, and Kallol Roy from Commandant (SAF) to SP (MTF) with additional charge of STF and Crime Branch. At the SP level, Bikash Deb has been made SP (SCRB), Ranadhir Debbarma as AIGP (Law & Order), Shyamanda Sharma as SP (Anti-Narcotics), and Jeremia Darong as SP (Vigilance).
District-level changes saw Rahul Bahalara as SP Dhalai, Pannalal Sen as SDPO Teliamura, and Kamal Krishna Das as SDPO Jirania. In Agartala, Aroop Goswami took charge as Addl. SP (TPC&B).
