Tinku Roy Meets Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi, Submits Key Proposals for Youth and Sports Development in Tripura

Tripura’s Youth and Sports Minister, Tinku Roy, today met Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Jyotiraditya Scindia in New Delhi and held a constructive discussion on the state’s developmental priorities.
During the meeting, Tinku Roy presented a memorandum highlighting several crucial demands aimed at boosting sports and youth infrastructure in Tripura. The major proposals include:
Comprehensive infrastructure development at Panisagar Regional Physical Education College under various master plans.
Construction of a 25,000-seat capacity gallery at DD State Sports Complex, Badharghat.
Establishment of a 400-seat youth hostel at the same sports complex.
Construction of a G+5 youth hostel and a 500-seat auditorium at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Abas Complex, Agartala.
The minister elaborated on the importance of these projects, stressing their necessity for the state’s growing sports and youth sectors. He further shared that Jyotiraditya Scindia responded positively to the proposals and assured support for the initiatives.
Expressing optimism, Tinku Roy stated on his social media that the Union Minister’s encouraging outlook and cooperation would pave the way for enriching opportunities for Tripura’s youth and sports development.
