Bhagat Singh English Medium School, Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya and TTADC Polytechnic Institution Declared Best in Tripura on Teacher’s Day

The Education Department of Tripura has announced the names of the best educational institutions across different categories ahead of the state-level Teacher’s Day celebrations. The announcement was made by Director of Education N. C. Sharma on Wednesday. The awards will be formally presented to the institutions during the state-level Teacher’s Day programme at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala, on Friday.

In the overall evaluation of schools across the state, Bhagat Singh English Medium School of West Tripura district has been declared the best school. In the higher education category, Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya of Gomati district has been chosen as the best degree college, while in the technical education category, TTADC Polytechnic Institution has received the award for best polytechnic.

Apart from these top honours, the Education Department has also recognised several other schools and institutions in different fields. Dudhpur High School of Unakoti district has been awarded for best attendance, Kathalia Girls School of Sepahijala district for best results among TBSE schools, and Rajnagar Colony High School of South Tripura for outstanding performance in CBSE examinations.

In sports, PM Shri Nabagram Higher Secondary School of West district has been selected, while for cultural and co-curricular activities, Golden Valley Higher Secondary School of North Tripura and Teliamura Higher Secondary School of Khowai district will be honoured.

For successful implementation of the PM Poshan scheme, West Daluchhara High School, PM Shri Janday English Medium School, Sukanta Academy English Medium Higher Secondary School, and PM Shri Radhakishore Institution will receive awards.

In the field of information technology, awards go to Kirit Bikram Institution, PM Shri Sakram Girls Higher Secondary School, Mungiabari Higher Secondary School, and Khudiram Bose English Medium School. For maintaining cleanliness, Ratan Rwaza Para High School and West Bogafa Higher Secondary School will be honoured.

Additionally, five schools have been chosen for special recognition in greenery and environmental initiatives: Mendi Awar High School, Bir Bikram Institution, Rabigopal Para High School, Sarasima Higher Secondary School, and Tripura Lok Shikshalaya High School.

On the national stage, Bidisha Majumder, a teacher from Tripura, will represent the state in New Delhi where she will be honoured at the National Teacher’s Day programme on Friday.
