Dhalai Women SHG Members Begin Successful Production of ‘Moringa Powder’ for the First Time in Tripura

For the first time, women members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Dhalai district have successfully started the production of ‘Moringa Powder’, a nutritious and natural food product. The initiative marks a significant step towards women’s empowerment and healthy living in Tripura.

The announcement was officially made on the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) Facebook page, which stated that very soon, this organic and health-friendly food product will be available across the state through Sanjoj outlets.

In a symbolic gesture, Dhalai District senior TRLM officer Tapan Chakma handed over sample packets of Moringa Powder to TRLM Chief Executive Officer TK Chakma today. He highly appreciated the efforts of the SHG women of Dhalai for taking up such a unique and sustainable livelihood initiative.

This initiative not only promotes women led entrepreneurship but also contributes to the growing demand for natural, nutritional, and wellness-oriented food products in Tripura. It reflects the commitment of TRLM towards strengthening rural livelihoods and empowering women through innovative ventures.
