Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha participated in the 125th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program at Asharambari in Khowai, marking his first attendance in a tribal area for this initiative. The event, held in the East Takchaya area, witnessed a large gathering of BJP leaders and party supporters.
During the program, Dr. Saha urged every member of the community to actively listen to the Prime Minister’s address, highlighting the importance of national initiatives and public participation. He also cautioned against any attempts to disrupt the program, sending a clear message to those planning disturbances, without naming any specific group.
Dr. Saha emphasized that development work in the ADC (Autonomous District Council) areas is progressing rapidly and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to organizational growth in these regions. The event was attended by BJP state in-charge Ratan Ghosh, MDC Bhumika Nand Ryang, Khowai district BJP president Binay Debbarma, and several other leaders.
Referring to a previous Tipra Motha attack incident at Asharambari’s Booth No. 30, where supporters of a local Tipra Motha group had attacked the man ki bath program, Dr. Saha strongly condemned such actions. He appealed to all sections of society, including people from government and private sectors, to participate peacefully and constructively in programs like ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
Dr. Saha’s message underlines the state government and BJP leadership’s commitment to inclusive participation, peace, and the continued development of tribal and ADC areas in Tripura.
