Indian Army Organises National Sports Day for Students at Tripura

In honour of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, the Indian Army celebrated National Sports Day at Agartala, Tripura, with the spirit of “Fit India, Strong India.”

The Red Shield Gunners organised the event at Agartala Military Station, Salbagan, where 40 children enthusiastically participated in a 2 km run. The young participants showcased their energy, fitness, and discipline, embodying the true essence of the day.

The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where all winners and participants were applauded for their performance. The event ended with a collective pledge echoing the message: “Fit youth, strong India.”
