Ram Prasad Paul’s novel initiative , distributes costly awards among successful students in heartening programme, Chhattishgarh governor present

The deputy speaker of the state assembly and popular MLA of Surjyamoni Nagar assembly constituency today set a record of sorts by rewarding 700 meritorious students of his area who had performed excellently in the Madhyamik and HS (+2) examinations of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education in a heartening function in the auditorium of the Tripura Central University (TCU).

All the awardee students and their guardians had thronged the TCU university auditorium and the occasion was graced by the incumbent governor of Chhattishgarh state Ramen Deka who also inaugurated the programme by lighting the holy lamp . Mr Deka thanked Ram Prasad Paul for inviting him to the grand programme in his speech and appreciated the organizing of such a programme which, he asserted, will go a long way in inspiring the students to perform better in the exams ahead in their student career . The governor who has been a longstanding friend of Ram Prasad Paul evinced his optimism over the rapid progress and development of the state of Tripura under the ‘double engine government’ headed by BJP in the state and in Centre.

Ram Prasad Paul , the popular MLA of the constituency and deputy speaker of the assembly, thanked the people of the constituency and the students for so spontaneously coming in large numbers to attend the programme. Asserting that he will continue to help and inspire the promising student community of his constituency in future also. He expressed the hope that the students will perform better in the academic exams in future in their student career and be inspired by the ideals of nationalism and spirit of service to Mother India. The programme was also attended by the former union minister of state Pratima Bhowmik who had also gone to the MBB airport along with Ram Prasad Paul to receive the governor of Chhattishgarh state Ramen Deka.

After the speeches as many as seven hundred prizes were distributed among 700 students. The prizes given away included Laptop computer, Tab, Smart Phone, Smart Watch, Mementos and Certificates. All the students and their guardians expressed their joy and gratitude to Ram Prasad Paul for organizing such a high-profile programme as also for giving away such nice prizes.
