Rajib Dutta Appointed Director of Elementary Education & SSA, 22 Senior Officers Transferred in Tripura Administration Reshuffle

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Government of Tripura has issued transfer and posting orders for as many as 22 senior officers belonging to the IAS, IFS, and TCS cadres. The General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department released a series of notifications on Monday, effecting immediate changes across multiple departments.

According to the official order, Shri Rajib Dutta, TCS SSG, Additional Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Agartala, has been transferred and posted as Director of Elementary Education, Tripura, Agartala. He will also hold the additional charge of State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Agartala. With this, Shri Nripendra Chandra Sharma, Director of Secondary Education, has been relieved of the additional responsibilities of Director of Elementary Education and State Project Director, SSA.

In another key move, Shri Debananda Reang, IAS, has been posted as the new Secretary of the Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) in place of Ratan Biswas, IAS, Government of Tripura.

The reshuffle includes several other notable postings:

Shri Kamalesh Dhar, Shri Arghya Saha, Shri Arup Deb, Shri Vanladika Darlong, Shri Santanu Datta, Shri Ratan Nama, Smt. Soma Deb, and Shri Uttam Das Baishnab, Md. Habij Uddin, Shri David L. Halam, Shri Santanu Bikash Das, Shri Kamal Debbarma (2), Smt. Pamela Saha, Shri Dhriti Sekhar Roy, and Shri Gopal Krishna Datta, all from TCS Grade I/II are among those transferred and all these TCS officers have been reassigned under new orders.

Shri Jaydeep Chakraborty, TCS Gr-I, has also been posted to a new assignment as Joint Director Information Technology. In an separate notifications the Director of Sepahijala Zoo Biswajit Das, IFS appointed as OSD to the Higher Education Department Minister Kishore Barman.

The reshuffle, involving a total of 22 officers, has been described as a move in the interest of public service and is aimed at streamlining administrative functioning across departments.
