Glory for Tripura, Bidisha Majumder to be conferred national teachers day award in Delhi on 5th September

In a glorious moment for Tripura, Bidisha Majumder (35), popular and universally respected teacher of obscure Hariyananda English Medium school under Udaipur subdivision of Gomati district. She has been selected for her sterling service as teacher and exemplary treatment of her students of the school. The news about the selection of Bidisha Majumder as an awarded came to the education department of the school from ‘Shastri Bhawan’ in Delhi and she has been asked to reach Delhi at government expense to attend the national teachers day function on September 5 in the famous Vigyan Bhawan in the capital. Bidisha will be conferred a citation on silver and given a cheque of Rs 50 thousand as award.

Elated by the official announcement of the award Bidisha said that she was dedicating the coveted award to the students and colleagues of her school as well as family members . Asserting that she is proud of being a teacher Bidisha said that she had joined the Hariyananda English Medium school several years back and the school had been upgraded to english medium in the year 2018 . In the year 2023 the school had been affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “The students of this school have been winning various awards at the national level from the year 2019 and I am proud of them” said a beaming Bidisha.
