Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir Prize Ceremony: Chairman Debashis Chakraborty Lauds School’s Commitment to Holistic Learning

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh, Agartala, organized a vibrant Prize Distribution Ceremony on 25th August 2025 at the Kulapati K. M. Munshi Hall to celebrate the achievements of its Tiny Bhavanites. The event showcased the spirit of excellence, hard work, and encouragement that defines the institution’s vision for its young learners.
The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, floral tributes, and a cordial welcome of the dignitaries. Special Guest Mr. Manaranjan Das, Retired Agriculture Officer (TAFS, Gr-I, Dept. of Agriculture, Govt. of Tripura) and eminent social activist, and Special Invitee Dr. Anwesha Bhattacharjee, Medical Officer and Dental Surgeon at Narsingarh PHC, graced the occasion.
In her Welcome Address, Principal Smt. Swapna Shome highlighted the school’s dedication to nurturing children and fostering holistic growth from their earliest stages of learning.
The Felicitation of Achievers was the key highlight, where students from Nursery to Class II were honored for outstanding academic performance in the session 2024–25. Awards were also presented for 100 percent attendance and excellence in co-curricular activities, making the event a true celebration of effort and achievement.
Delivering the Presidential Address, Mr. Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS Officer and Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra, stressed the importance of strong educational foundations and lauded the school for its unwavering commitment to holistic learning. His words inspired parents, teachers, and students alike, underscoring the value of quality education during the formative years.
The ceremony concluded on a note of gratitude and pride, with Headmistress Mrs. Pompi Majumdar extending a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. The day remained etched as a memorable celebration of talent, motivation, and encouragement for all present.
