Voluntary blood donation camp held in Arabinda Sangha, CM attends

The Arabinda Sangha club located near the AD Nagar HS school in Town Bardowali constituency represented by the chief minister Dr Manik Saha in the assembly organised a voluntary blood donation camp in the club premise on the occasion of the death anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee this programme. More than a hundred members of the club and residents of the area donated blood in the camp . The programme was attended by the MLA of Badharghat assembly constituency Meena Rani Sarkar and chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
In his speech on the occasion the chief minister appreciated the initiative of Arabinda Sangha club in organizing the blood donation camp and said that such camps should be organised by all other clubs on a regular basis. Dr Saha added that such voluntary donation, a noble service in itself , will fulfill the blood requirements in the state’s hospitals and health centres.
Apart from this, another voluntary blood donation camp was organised today in the office of the SDM (Sadar). More than sixty people including employees of the SDM office donated blood which was collected in a scientific manner by the staff deputed by the health department. The programme was attended by the DM (west) Dr Vishal Kumar, additional DM Asit Kumar Das and the SDM (Sadar) Manik Lal Das.
