Chief Engineer Sapan Kumar Das of Agriculture Department Injured in Road Accident at Saika, Ganganagar

Agriculture Department Chief Engineer Sapan Kumar Das and his driver were injured in a road accident at Saika area under Ganganagar on Wednesday. The incident occurred when they were on their way to Chandipur to inaugurate a Farmer’s Knowledge Center along with Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath.

Minister Ratan Lal Nath, who was present at the spot, immediately arranged for the injured to be taken to the hospital. Initially, they were admitted to Kumarghat Hospital. However, it has been reported that Chief Engineer Sapan Kumar Das and his injured driver were later shifted to Agartala for better treatment.

Unakoti district MLA Bhagaban Chandra Das also visited Kumarghat Hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured and expressed his concern for their speedy recovery.
