Tripura Poet Mrinal Kanti Pandit Shines on International Stage at Ramakrishna Mission’s Manch in Kolkata

The prestigious “Ramakrishna Manch” of the Ramakrishna Mission, located at Swami Vivekananda’s ancestral home in Kolkata, witnessed a grand international literary celebration organized by the National Sahitya Prakashan Trust. The event, held on August 3 from 4 PM to 8 PM, brought together distinguished poets, authors, and literary figures from across India and abroad, creating an atmosphere of cultural festivity and intellectual exchange.
Representing Tripura as the sole delegate from the state, eminent poet and retired agri engineer Mrinal Kanti Pandit graced the occasion as a specially invited guest of honor. His presence illuminated the stage, drawing appreciation from the audience and fellow literary luminaries.
In a special felicitation ceremony, the founder of the Trust, Shaktimoy Das, along with other esteemed members, draped Mr. Pandit with an uttariya (traditional shawl) as a mark of honour and respect for his literary contributions.
Notably Mrinal Kanti Pandit was earlier participated in many national and international literary festivals and received accolades from various prestigious platforms. His achievements continue to bring pride to Tripura, where he is celebrated as one of the state’s brightest and most inspiring literary figures.
