Governor satisfied with progress in tea industry modernisation

Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu visited the Brahmakunda Tea Estate in Simna on Thursday, where he interacted with workers and reviewed their working conditions. He also inspected the Brahmakunda Tea Processing Centre and expressed satisfaction with its operations.

Speaking to the media, the Governor praised the state government’s initiatives to modernise Tripura’s tea processing industry and said the Brahmakunda unit stands as a positive example of this progress.

Upon his arrival, officials of the Tripura Tea Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL) gave him a warm welcome. Present during the visit were TTDCL Chairman Sameer Ranjan Ghosh, Managing Director Manik Lal Das, and Mohanpur SDM Subhash Dutta.

The Governor was also briefed by the Chairman and Managing Director of the Tripura Tourism Development and Cultural Affairs Corporation (TTDCAL) regarding the ongoing developments at the tea estate and its processing facility.
