Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha) strongly condemns the Unlawful behaviour of a section of students and outsiders inside the campus of Ramthakur College

The ABRSM Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha) has taken strong exception to a section of students of Ramthakur College and outsiders entering the College campus on the afternoon of 1st August 2025 on the pretext of giving deputation to the Principal-in-Charge for admission of some applicants whose names had not featured in the Merit Lists of the College and indulged in unlawful behaviours like creating a ruckus in the campus, shouting offensive slogans, kicking the door of the Principal chamber and hurling abuse to teachers and office staff of the College.

The ABRSM Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha) has condemned the incident as a very shameful one and demanded punishment for such acts of impertinence inside campus of an educational institution. On the same go the organization condemned in equal terms the immoral acts of a particular teacher of the institution who being the then Convenor of the admission committee had tried to admit candidates bypassing Merit lists which might have precipitated the incident.

Following the incident a delegation of ABRSM Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha) met with the Principal-in-Charge and teachers of the college on the afternoon of 2nd August 2025 to get firsthand account of the incident and expressed solidarity with the aggrieved teachers.

ABRSM Tripura (Mahavidyalaya Shiksha) asserted that it stays committed to the protection and upliftment of the social status of the teachers and urged competent authorities to take urgent steps to prevent any such incident in college campuses across the state in future.
