Three-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Pond in Ashabari Village

A tragic incident shook Ashabari village on Sunday morning when a three-year-old boy, Farhad Hossain, accidentally drowned in a pond near his home. Farhad, the only son of Jalal Uddin, was a resident of Ward No. 4 in Ashabari village.

According to family members, the child went missing around 9:30 am. When his parents could not find him inside the house, they began searching the nearby area. Suspecting that he might have fallen into the pond, his father entered the water to look for him. Moments later, he discovered Farhad’s lifeless body beneath the water.

The child was rushed to the Boxanagar Social Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The sudden loss of their only son has left his parents in deep shock, while the entire village is mourning the tragedy.

Later, officers from the Kalamchoura Police Station visited the site and conducted an investigation into the incident.
