‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme to end on August 15 in three phases, accent on patriotism and nationalism

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (Tri-colour in every house) programme launched yesterday by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to inculcate a deep sense of patriotism and nationalism among people in the country will be completed in three phases on August 15, the independence day. This programme had been initiated at the initiative of prime minister Narendra Modi in the year 2022 and this is being observed with the same purpose this year also through different programmes.

An official release issued in this regard said that in the first phase of the programme till August 8 the students and youths will be involved in the programme which will include ‘Tiranga exhibition’, ‘Tiranga Rangoli competition’ ‘Tiranga Lighting’, ‘Addressing letters to police and army jawans’, wall writing , quiz competition etc. In the second phase between August 9 and 12 the programmes to be observed will include ‘Tiranga fair’, ‘Tiranga concert’, ‘Tiranga bike and cycle rally’, ‘Tiranga march’ etc. Besides, in every house ‘Tiranga selfie points’ will be raised and pictures will be posted in the www.harghartiranga.com website.

In the third phase between August 13 and 15 the programmes will include hoisting of national flags. In addition , between August 8 and 15 a weeklong a ‘Swachhata’ (cleanliness) campaign with active participation of youths and people will be implemented . The programme will end on August 15, the independence day.
