Tripura continues to add new feathers of achievement to its cap of development. In a significant milestone, the state has secured 100% success in six Key Performance Indicators (KPI) under the Quarterly Saturation Campaign 2024, conducted by NITI Aayog. This exceptional accomplishment highlights the state's consistent efforts towards inclusive growth and good governance.
What makes the achievement more noteworthy is the crucial role played by aspirational districts and blocks. Particularly, the Dhalai district, predominantly inhabited by tribal communities
and the aspirational blocks of Ganganagar, Dashda, and Damcherra have emerged as frontrunners in delivering last-mile governance and welfare schemes.
To celebrate this commendable success, a 'Sampurnata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh' was organized today at Prajna Bhavan, Agartala, in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. During the ceremony, former District Magistrates, Block Development Officers (BDOs), and Krishi Sahayak Mitras who contributed to this success were felicitated and honoured by the Chief Minister.
Marking another major initiative, the Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘Mukhyamantri Nabodisha Abhiyan’, a flagship effort under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). With an investment of Rs. 82 crore, this initiative will support 80 Integrated Farming Clusters across 16 backward blocks, aiming to boost rural livelihoods through sustainable farming practices and allied activities.
Additionally, the Chief Minister launched the ‘Aakangkha Haat’, a new platform operated by Self-Help Groups (SHGs), designed to empower local entrepreneurs, especially women, and provide a market for their products.
These successive initiatives reflect Tripura’s commitment to rapid, inclusive, and grassroots-level development, reaffirming its position as a model state in the northeastern region.
