Drone on border with Bangladesh , alarm among people

The recovery of a Chinese drone in bordering Lankamura village west of Agartala town has created an alarm among people. It is yet to be tested fully but what is clear is that the drone had come from Bangladesh. Sources from Lankamura said that a farmer of Bin Para area of Lankamura had gone to a green field near his home to cut grass for his cattles and came across the drone which he could not identify. Out of curiosity he brought it back home and his family members said that it is a drone with a seal that read ‘made in China’ and a CC camera was also found inside it .

Alarmed by what had been discovered the farmer identified as Subodh Bin informed police personnel and the BSF jawans posted along the border. A police team rushed to the spot and brought it to police station to have it examined by experts. The BSF jawans have also been put on high alert , suspecting that the drone might have been flown by Bangladesh authority to collect photographs and other informations prior to a feared attack . However, local leaders and public representatives tried to allay the fears among the people.
