Power Minister Ratan Nath Holds Statewide Virtual Meet to Ensure Uninterrupted Electricity and Promote Smart Meter Awareness

In a significant move to strengthen the state's power distribution system and improve customer services, Tripura’s Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath in presence of the MD Biswajit Basu convened a statewide video conference today with all levels of staff and officials of the Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), including helpers and linemen.The virtual meeting was held from the corporate headquarters of TSECL and focused on multiple crucial aspects such as ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply during the ongoing monsoon season and the upcoming festive period, especially Durga Puja.
During the interaction, the minister emphasized the importance of raising public awareness regarding the use of smart meters. He urged the officials to present the Corporation as a customer-friendly institution and to ensure that all consumer complaints are resolved swiftly and efficiently.
Sharing an update on his social media platform after the meeting, Minister Nath stated that all categories of employees and officials assured him of their utmost dedication and commitment to delivering uninterrupted power services across the state.
"I firmly believe that together, we can usher in a bright and customer-friendly era in Tripura's power sector," the minister expressed optimistically.
